Where It All Began
This is where it all began, on a magical month-long trip I took to France with my family and a few close friends during the summer of 2013.
I'm with my son here (doing his best cool guy pose), who was eight at the time. And there it is - the bracelet I fell in love with that started it all. I found it in a tiny commune in southern France near the beginning of our trip, and wore it throughout our vacation and almost daily for the following two years.
I loved this piece, and I wanted more like it, in slightly different shapes, sizes and a variety of colors. I knew, however, because of its uniqueness, and the fact that it might be quite some time before I jetted back to France, if I wanted more, and others like it, I'd need to create the designs myself.
And so eventually I did.
